Dr. S. A. A. M. Subasinghe was appointed as the first Dean of the new Faculty of Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura by the Council of the University. He assumed duties on 2016.07.18 at the Faculty.
Dr. Subasinghe graduated from the University of Moratuwa where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with First Class Honors. He earned his Masters of Engineering and Doctoral Degrees from University of Western Ontario, Canada, specializing in the area of radiation biodosimetry. His research areas include medical imaging, machine learning and image analysis.
